2. Purpose of Data Processing

Biroworks Mérnöki Iroda Kft. processes the personal data provided via the contact/quote-request form solely for the following purposes:

  • getting in touch with the inquirer;
  • responding to inquiries;
  • providing technical or other information;
  • preparing and sending a custom quote;
  • subsequent contact in connection with the quote request.

3. Scope of Data Processed

  • name;
  • email address;
  • phone number (if provided);
  • information provided in the message;
  • optionally attached files;
  • IP address — for technical purposes only, to filter out unsolicited submissions and abuse (e.g. automated spam).

Please provide only personal data that is necessary for preparing the quote or for making contact.

The legal basis for processing the name, email address, phone number, message, and attached file is the data subject’s voluntary consent.

The legal basis for processing the IP address, needed for the form’s secure operation, is the Data Controller’s legitimate interest (protection against abuse and unsolicited submissions).

The legal basis for the statistical and advertising cookies used on the website is likewise the data subject’s consent — see Section 8.

5. Data Retention Period

Personal data is processed only for as long as necessary to make contact and fulfill the quote request. If no business relationship is established, the data is deleted no later than 12 months after the inquiry is closed.

The IP address recorded for abuse-filtering purposes is retained for a much shorter period and is automatically deleted within a few hours.

Cookies placed by Google Analytics and Google Ads are subject to Google’s own retention rules — see Section 8.

6. Data Transfers

Biroworks Mérnöki Iroda Kft. does not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data processors and other parties who may have access to your data in the course of operating the website:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — website infrastructure and security, including the Cloudflare Turnstile service used to filter out unsolicited submissions (which processes your IP address as described in Sections 3–4 above).
  • Resend — delivering messages submitted via the contact form by email.
  • Google Ireland Limited — operating Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ads, only where you have given consent as described in Section 8.

7. Confidentiality

We treat our clients’ confidential information with the utmost care.

On request, we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before starting a project.

8. Cookies, Google Analytics, and Google Ads

The website loads the following services via Google Tag Manager (GTM). Google Tag Manager itself does not place any cookies — it is solely responsible for loading the services below.

  • Google Analytics — collects anonymous or pseudonymized statistical data about website usage (e.g. pages viewed, session length).
  • Google Ads — places cookies used to measure advertising conversions and for remarketing (showing targeted ads to previous visitors of the website). These cookies allow a visitor to see personalized ads on other websites after leaving this one.

Analytics and advertising (Google Ads/remarketing) cookies are activated only after you give explicit consent by accepting the notice banner shown on the website. Without consent, these services do not collect or transmit any data.
